Kadri Voorand is a passionate singer and composer who has received numerous accolades and performed extensively in Estonia and abroad. In 2015, she was awarded the prestigious Best Jazz Musician of the Year at the Jazzkaar festival. In 2017, she was honoured as the Best Female Artist of the Year and her album "Armupurjus" ("Love Intoxication") was recognized as the Best Jazz Album of the Year at the Estonian Music Awards. Her albums "Armupurjus" and "Kosmoloogiline etüüd" also achieved top 10 positions on the charts of European jazz critics. In 2019, she released her acclaimed album "In Duo with Mihkel Mälgand" on the renowned jazz label ACT, which earned her the Jazz Album of the Year award at the Estonian Music Awards. Collaborating with esteemed artists, Kadri Voorand continues to captivate audiences with her duo performances alongside Mihkel Mälgand and with the vocal ensemble Estonian Voices.
