That Mod Martin has a long and varied career behind him is clear in his songwriting, whether it is the classic acoustic sound of Remember June, the plaintive piano driven Never Surrender or any number of the dance floor collaborations with the cream of the European Dj’s and producers. But Mod Martin is nothing if not varied and you are as likely to find him contributing to a raging EDM track as you are to a Brit-pop era power-pop gem, adding guitar to a rock-dance crossover or revelling in spacious and heart-tuggingly emotive ballads. Mod Martin understands that a career in music is a long and intriguing journey and for all the distance he has so far travelled it is obvious that there is so much still to explore.
