Left Eye Perspective is a Belgian progressive sludge metal band from Ghent. The group is composed of bassist Jelle (aka Jelly), lead guitarist Kim (aka Robot), rhythm guitarist and vocalist Kristof (aka dr. K) and drummer Tony (aka MMT). The band originally started as a post rock band. Over the years, they found a mutual appreciation of progressive rock and metal bands. Their musical style, which is rooted in grunge music, could most readily be described as a combination of progressive riffs and floating melodies, while the lyrics often deal with the infinity of the universe and myths of the ancient world as metaphors for melancholy and defiance.
