Copycat is the alter ego of Swedish producer Ivan Matanovic, who specializes in all kinds of disco – from electro and nu, over italo, to cosmic and balearic. Or as he puts it: 360° Disco! Stemming from the underground scene, where he was globally renowned for his creative bootlegs and remixes, the past decade has seen Copycat venturing into the field of producing – both his own original material and other artists' – to great acclaim. Always with his usual blend of melancholy disco and catchy melodies – the perfect soundtrack for night driving.
