Mista Epik fka EpikThot (/ˈepik/ /THôt/) born Michael Matthews, is a member of the group AudibleSol born in Connecticut but raised in Georgia & Indiana with ties to Illinois & Michigan. Writing short stories and poetry started with a creative writing class. His desire to rap came later, influenced by classmates who were pursing music careers. After several years of performing in the Bay Area & venues in Los Angeles, Epik is ready to tour other cities, clubs & arenas to gain more mainstream exposure. The music written by Epik is influenced by his ties to Chicago, Atlanta/Stone Mountain & Bay area. His style of music is one of fun, passion, uplifting and street for his fans and followers eventually brokering a partnership deal with a major label for distribution for AudibleSol featuring Clev & Epik.
