Wondergel is the first recording band from the 90s indie scene of Jakarta where all the personnel are female. They released one full album (self-titled) under the label of M Music Production / Musica, and launched four radio singles namely Cermin, Pesona Indah, I Miss You and Jalan Yg Sama. Disbanded in 2000, in 2017 Wondergel held a reunion concert after a total of 17 years on hiatus from their musical activities. The concert was also enlivened by former bandmates such as Pestolaer, New Desease, Levi The Fly, Adi Fable, Suar Nasution and Nyoman Planetbumi, as well as artists from outside their genres namely Damon Koeswoyo / Kidnap Katrina and millennial girl singer Kartika Jahja. In 2019, this indie pop band from Jakarta reunited - from the six of them became a duo, namely the founder Meita Kasim (songwriter / vocal / spoken words) and Diah Rajanti (guitar / vocal), who joined Wondergel since yr. 1995. They also released a come back single entitled Di Bangku Taman (Levi the Fly producer). In 2020, their second single The Guiding Lights released.
