Soothsayer - Underground Progressive Metal-Core from Abilene, TX. This 5 Piece perfect blend of Heavy and Epic, began gaining traction following the release of their brand new single, “1999” in the beginning 2023. Soothsayer is seen as a band surrounded by mystery, rooted in one of the most isolated regions in Texas. This year a new foundation of metal, along with a promising future in the Heavy Metal genre in Texas and the United States. Driven by a passion for Heavy Metal Music, a love for laughter, and a growing group of supporters - the band will continue to release new music and strive toward performing their biggest shows to date. Following membership transitions and their own share of trials and tribulations the past four years, the band has united and connected with their supporter base with a message of togetherness through empowerment surrounding topics like mental health, self healing, serenity, and using heavy metal to overcome any obstacle in life. The new single, “1999” showcases the band at their absolute best, building off their first album, “Identity” and evolutionary songs such as Aftermath, Hide and Seek, and Onyx. These absolute jams infuse the best elements of heavy, melodic, and ambient transitions available to the human ear, and only grow in Melodic Complexity as time passes.
