If when you hear R&B you imagine sappy love songs and simple lyrics, think again. Hailing from Houston, Barry Twice is authentic, original, and extremely versatile and his music is sonically innovative and lyrically captivating. When asked what motivated him to start singing, Barry Twice says “I love music and I just want to make R&B that feels like the songs I fell in love with as a child”. Barry Twice’s philosophy regarding music is that when you make music that matters to you, people will listen and judging by his polyrhythmic vocal stylings and piercing lyrics, people will do just that. He has been singing and rapping since 2003. In 2021 he was featured in Voyage Dallas Magazine and celebrated for the release of his first single titled ‘Pull Up’; a hypnotic slow jam in which he croons intimately in a silky falsetto. Barry Twice also has a follow-up single and debut album which will be releasing early 2022. His first single “Pull Up” is currently featured on two curated playlists on AudioMack as well as all digital outlets.
