Respite! formed in 2021 in Riverside, CA during the midst of worldwide chaos (aka COVID-19). Uniting through their shared love of music, they found peace and tranquility, overall creating their own “respite”. Their first single “Punk Invasion” represents their invasion of the music scene. Respite! thinks outside of the box when it comes to genre. They’re influenced by many different bands in genres such as ska, punk, metal, etc. They recorded their debut album, “Cereal Punks”, at Pot of Gold Records with producer David Irish. Madison “MadDawgg” Jones is the marvelous singer and rhythm guitarist of Respite! Madison lives and breathes music, for she is also in choir and marching band at her high school. Zoe Anderson is Respite!’s 4-stringed queen. When she’s not running around on stage rocking out on her bass, she’s out killing it on the golf course and going to as many concerts as humanly possible, especially for her favorite band Waterparks. Bella McClure is Respite!’s kick-ass lead guitarist. Her awesome mohawk draws in adoring crowds and her face-melting guitar riffs keep audiences wanting more. Aidyn “Woobie Man” Scurlock is the boisterous drummer of Respite! His other passions include street art and shredding on his skateboard. Young Respite! is excited for their future of writing new music and touring around the world!
