NEW SINGLE "VIRTUAL SIGNAL" COMING 2/24/23 OMNI (Part 1, coming 3/24/23) is an immersive Sci-fi/horror media experience, one part double album, one part film (coming mid-2023), one part novel (coming mid-2023). Though it is a work of fiction, it is rooted in current events, circa 2023. Sonically, it is a wholly unique merger of genres…death metal, gore, rock, electronic, and doom metal. Set in the near future of 2041, the album explores transhumanism, singularity, and the nature of man, as expressed in technological achievement. With over 600k in lifetime sales, as well as a diverse catalogue of genre-bending material, Project 86 has made a lasting legacy for itself in heavy music. Hailing from Orange County, California, frontman and founder Andrew Schwab had a singular vision for this outfit when it began in 1996: to make passionate, emotional heavy music without all of the trappings of its scenes and subcategories.
