(Feb 1, 2023) Great things come in bigger packages (ahem) — and that’s exactly what we’re doing to our musical family! We’re thrilled to share the news that starting today, we’ll be moving forward with the name ‘Brewing Weekends’. Just like what the name change suggests, it now reflects our focus on creating a more diverse and bold sound. This change will allow us to present ourselves in a better way. We are now more committed to our individual and collective impact in making music. While being ‘The Joyrides’ was fun when it lasted, it’ll always be our root and our home. We’re forever grateful for that. But just like any other relationship, with this change, we can now start making new memories and experiences with you guys! ❤️ So new band name, the same lineup of awesome people: Richmond on Keys Aldrin on Trombone Manny on Saxophone Keiya on Trumpet Mark on Drums Xy on Bass Donie on Guitar 1 Nimrod on Guitar 2 Jerin on Vocals We might be having some people join some of the gigs from time to time too so stay tuned!!
