John Jayvie Cabalejo Nisnisan (known for his stage name JAVES) is a 21-year- old musician and singer-songwriter and is undoubtedly one of Cagayan de Oro's rising talent to watch out for. He draws his musical inspiration from alternative and indie styles from the likes of Unique Salonga, Phum Viphurit , Puma Blue, Orange & Lemons, Summer Salt He began his writing journey at the age of 17 when he was still residing in Antipolo City, then years later move into Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental. His burning passion for music has led him to perform at local events held both by Indie CDO and, is also a part, of Komunidad Sa Kanto. He also had the opportunity to perform alongside Adie once at the Odd Community (or O/C Records) last 2020 with other local musicians outside the label. He also does local radio station guesting like iFM 99.1.
