The multi-skilled Dutch artist, writer and producer Dan Soleil is marking his debut at the music label Cloud 9 Music in Amsterdam with his version of "Kids In America". The song is a cover of the megahit by Kim Wilde from 1981, which conquered the charts worldwide and peaked at #1 in several countries. Dan Soleils love for the music of this decade made him want to revamp it and make it his own. Originally “Kids In America” is an uptempo rock song, but Dan Soleil loves to blend styles and gave it his typical synth wave twist to which he added his own vocals.
