DJ Bl3nd (sometimes just known as Bl3nd) is a Los Angeles-based EDM DJ who plays intense, aggressive club music while donning a menacing Slipknot-like mask. He has achieved viral popularity due to his online videos, mixes, and energetic live performances, but has kept his identity a secret. He first began passing out mixtapes to promoters and clubs in 2009 to little notice. It wasn't until he started posting videos of himself DJ'ing in his attention-grabbing mask that he began to attract a following. A few years and millions of YouTube views later, he was playing to crowds of thousands at EDM festivals around the world. He charted in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs lists in 2013 and 2014, and he topped Billboard's Uncharted chart for over a year.
