Civic Video are a young, up-and-coming band from the inner suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Members Zac (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Hamish (drums) met as scruffy ne'er-do-wells at high school, quickly bonding over a love of surfy, indie rock and lunchtime music room debauchery. The boys would later meet Riley (lead guitar) and Belle (bass) at university, and adopt them into the crew to create the shimmering, swirling and summery cohort they now are. After selling out their debut show in March 2022, it's been a slew of pumped-up shows for the band ever since, drawing in great crowds from far and wide, playing at venues like the Oxford Arts Factory, Beach Road Hotel, Factory Theatre, Vic on the Park, and even treating their coastal NSW fans to multiple shows in Moruya, Bellingen & Lennox Head. Over the past year, Civic Video has shared the stage with plenty of local favourites including Jordan Kenny, Big Wheels, Liquid Zoo and Thunder Fox, as well as Canberra sweethearts ARCHIE, Newcastle-based legends Cooks & Bakers, and Perth giants Cloning. Riding on the high of the overwhelmingly positive reception of their first two single tracks 'Letters' and 'Wasted Days' (the latter of which received radio play from the likes of triple j's Home and Hosed, 2RRR, 2SSR, and Hobart's Edge Radio) CV are beyond excited to announce the release of their third track, 'If I Could Make You Dance'.
