The Fortitudes can be found in the wild of their home town Brisbane. Chris Wilkinson and Cooper Jones have slowly been ticking away at their list of stages to briefly occupy over 2022 securing slots at the Zoo, Triffid, and Black Bear Lodge. Their Christmas wish was to find a bassist. Instead they got a drummer, Luke Morrison - but it’s fine we aren’t complaining. Finally forming a stable lineup after a gig filled 2022, the better question is who hasn’t at some point been apart of The Fortitudes. Word is they have a New Year’s resolution of finding a bassist but we’ll have to wait and see. 
 2023 is already set to be a big year for the Brisbane rock band with the release of two new singles - alluding to a new E.P later in the year. (When I'm) With You has been the bands fastest growing release, indicative of the boys matured writing and recording. 2022 saw The Fortitudes recording out of Birthday Boy Studios with the guidance of Talk Heavy’s Matt Cochran (Mixing Engineer and Producer) to produce their two latest singles. Helping with producing the bands new and improved sound has been Bugs Brock Weston - providing the mastering to the new tracks. 
 The Fortitudes latest release Hit and Run is now out on all streaming platforms. Inspired by the works of Slowly Slowly, The Vanns, and Catfish and the Bottlemen, this track is bound to put you in the late-night-drive mood and sets the emotive stage for The Fortitudes future of music.
