American Songwriter says I “refuse to be pigeon-holed.” I find that I’m just learning to love the journey. My first song ever, with Will Anderson, hit the wedding market jackpot. But I’m not just a wedding song girl. Not even close. Next it was an acoustic EP, released to support winning a music competition, where I was dubbed an Americana up & comer. Finally I dipped my toe in what my city (Nashville) is known for best. My first fully-produced 2-part album landed the love of CMT, Rolling Stone Country, and many more. I was grateful for the ride, but overall, I still felt the weight of having not really expressed the most authentic version of my artistry. 2020’s release of “My Version of a Love Song” was the beginning of leaning into the artist I know now. The me that stopped making decisions through the lens of everyone else and started making them from the heart and inner-child she spent a pandemic uncovering. So now, with “Delicate Cycle” I am genuinely excited to meet you.
