Bride is an Inverclyde based post-punk band formed in 2022, consisting of Caragh Power (singer), Luke Harkins (bass), Lewis Rorrison (drums), Charlie McQueen (guitar) and Aedan McVey (guitar). With influences from the classic shoegaze of my bloody valentine, to the modern post-punk of Fontaines D.C. and Wolf Alice, they have crafted a sound that is unique among their contemporaries. Their recent gigs include a headliner at Sneaky Pete's and Broadcast in April 2023 following a Support Slot with sixpeace at SWG3 in February 2023. Bride have gained a reputation for their capability to excite crowds and create an unforgettable atmosphere. In May 2023 they released their debut single "Lost Cause", a song showing their eclectic mix of influences and musical maturity, with a dark, atmospheric and noisy sound, followed by Tuesday Nights, showing a more subdued and melodic side to their style.
