JENNIFER SAXELL began singing and writing songs as a young girl growing up in a musical family on Canada’s west coast. Since then her journey has taken her from honky-tonks to concert halls, from festivals to recording studios. Her music is inspired by her North American roots, a combination of country, folk and rock with lyrics that are carefully crafted into clever poetry. She delivers these songs with a distinctive voice that is proud, sensual and saturated with intimacy. Jennifer has toured in both Canada and the U.S. with her band “The Honkin’ Pontiacs" and shared stages with such artists as Emmylou Harris, k.d. Lang and more. In Sweden she has performed both live and in the studio with Josefin Nilsson, Lill Lindfors, Kikki Danielsson, Peter Lundbland and many others. Her own music is currently airing on radio stations around the globe as well as on all digital platforms. Jennifer, also an accomplished visual artist, divides her time between Vancouver, Phoenix Arizona and southern Sweden.
