Formed in 2019, Similar Sky is a synth-pop-ballad band. The band is composed of members Ion Bulawin (on lead vocals), Lyndone Valenzuela (on guitars / synthesizers), Hana Joyner (on lead guitar), Matthew de Guzman (on drums), Karl Santos (on bass guitar / synthesizers), and Cholo Domingo (on keyboards and bass guitar). The band’s music is described as a fusion between 70’s and 80’s new wave, ballad, synth-pop, and a touch of pop-rock.
