Stones Unturned is a five piece band out of Herndon, Virginia that mixes various styles of heavy metal and pop punk. The band - Landon Terrell (lead vocals), Joey Reilly (lead guitar), Leif Markee (rhythm guitar), Nick Weber (bass guitar), and Akaash Sheelam (drums, back-up vocals) - formed back in early 2019. The catalyst that started the band was in late 2018, when Joey and Leif decided after college to start jamming and eventually called on their hometown friends Akaash and Nick in 2019 to come write music. After a year of writing, Landon was asked by Akaash to join the band in 2020 after being overheard singing in the work locker room. This group of friends, who have a love for making unique music, will keep you wanting to come back for more. Memorial is the debut single of the eponymous EP releasing in February. Stones Unturned returned to engineer Arran Dutt to deliver their most complete work to date. The song effortlessly blends morbid topics of the destruction of our planet due to climate change with soaring, emotionally captivating melodies.
