Aurescence is the groove-based, jazz-house project of producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Rocco Strain. The project started in 2012 as a solo electronic experiment and gradually developed to incorporate a full band for performing the complex electro-acoustic arrangements. 
 While the focus is bringing mid-tempo grooves to the dance floor, the music incorporates world-instruments layers of field recordings to create a distinctive ambience, both in the recordings and on the stage.
