Born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, Mai Kino grew up with dreams of performing in the capital’s most grand venues. Her music has been heralded for its weird and hypnotic take on electronic pop with her distinctive intriguing voice at the forefront. Mai’s background in dance and multimedia art, as well as her synesthesia condition, help her create an interdisciplinary universe integrating sound, visual experimentation and self-directed video work.
