Magna Carda is an American hip hop outfit based in Austin, Texas. The mc-producer duo is notable for their eclectic musical style – a genre-defying blend of rap-meets-jazz-meets-R&B-meets-electronic – and performing with elaborate live arrangements and instrumentation. Their music has been featured on TV shows and films like The Chi, Dare Me, The F*ck It List, and Street Heroines. Magna Carda draws inspiration from jazz, art, and their roots in the Black South.
