In 1993 Bob Henning and Stefan Müller (now Stefan Hollaender) started their techno project "Alien Factory" on Generator Records. After the first straight Techno EP "Big Brother" came the first trance influences with the "Alpha II Delta" EP. "Beta Music" became their first underground hit at the end of 1993 and brought Alien Factory to Mayday 1994 in Dortmund's Westphalen Halle. From then on it was all about live acts and the next EP brought the greatest successes of the producers with Destiny and Tomorrow. Alien Factory toured Europe as far as Australia for almost three years before the trance genre lost its importance in 1997 and Bob Henning left the project. He was replaced by Hendrik Wilhelms, with whom Stefan had been producing other projects for some time and setting up a professional "Toolbox Music" recording studio. With Time Unlimited the project found a new label home in 1997 and further releases followed until 2000. Stefan Hollaender is still active as a music producer and one day Alien Factory will be back...
