Kerry Reeve (Global Army Music, Weird Inc, 99 Waves, Artist Intelligence Agency, Bliss Corporation) makes dance music for groovy people. She may be a little lady, but her deep funky bass lines are plucked with big grown-man finesse. She’s a master on her midi keyboards and uses synths native only to those who lived through the late '70s/early ‘80s and that retroelements come through in her music. Growing up with a mother who fed disco music to her daily, and coming from a musical family of 3 drummers, Kerry naturally took up making her own beats and started producing 2004. Prior to this she had been in various bands as lead singer and guitarist but was stage shy, so producing became another way for her to explore and express her musical talents. Reason and Cubase were where her journey in producing began, but soon she developed a strong love affair with Ableton. Some of her earlier music has been compared to Tycho and Daft Punk.
Kerry delivers a sterling melodic take on anything out there in electronic music, balancing the retro 80's funk-pop accents with some cool deep disco giving each of her tracks a cool feel-good vibe. With her dynamic vocal range, playful harmonies, crazy hooks, and great grooves, she always manages to pull a blinder of a vocal clean out of the water and is certainly guaranteed to wet your ears. Not only that, but her production is pretty dope too, this lass has class!
