Dara Ekimova, born on 25th June 2002, is among the most promising young Bulgarian pop artists. At the age of barely 19, she has a track record of successful music projects, which topped the Bulgarian music charts multiple times. 
 Dara has claimed her spot on the Bulgarian pop music scene 2 years ago with the release of her bilingual English-Greek hit-single “Sagapao” featuring bulgarian artist and top music producer – Iskren Tonchev – Iskrata. 
 Dara Ekimova & Iskata created the music and lyrics of “Sagapao” in summer of 2019. The track entered the Official airplay chart in Bulgaria on 26 July 2019, immediately hitting #4 spot. Just a week later, it landed at #1 as the “Most played Bulgarian song”. 
 “Voina” (“War”) by Dara Ekimova was released on 8th March 2021 and entered directly at #8 of the “Most played” list in the Official airplay chart, where it has already spent 23 weeks and peaked at #2. 
 In October 2021, Dara Ekimova participated in the biggest songwriting camp in Bulgaria - Sofia Songwriting Camp, organized by the record label Virginia Records, where she demonstrated an undeniable talent not only as a vocalist, but also as an author. That was the beginning of the partnership between Dara and Virginia Records. The first single, they released together, is “Byagam” (“Running”) - a modern and emotional track with a highly memorable melody and an original video.
