Suubi was first introduced to her love of music in the community that shaped her character, defined her outlook, and gave her footing and identity as a musician, Kampala, Uganda. Whether it was Sunday school, the private school she attended in her childhood, or at gatherings with friends and family, she always found herself where the music was. Leading up to one children’s Christmas production, a young Suubi, then a ballet enthusiast, auditioned to dance and was convinced by one of the children’s church facilitators to audition to sing as well; to her surprise, she was chosen for a lead role. Since that moment, Suubi has used her gift for service in school choirs, church productions and chapel events. She currently serves on the teens church worship team at her local church. Her recently released first single; "All Knowing God" , is an acoustic CCM moment featuring simple vocals and a single guitar. Though Suubi’s recording journey has started in the Contemporary Christian Music genre, she plans to venture into soft RnB, Worship, and pop as she draws inspiration from; Brooke Fraser, Brooke Ligertwood, Natalie Grant, and CeCe Winans. These artists wrote much of the music that raised Suubi, and their art is her companion to this day. “For as long as I have existed, praise has lingered on my breath, for as long as I will exist, I want to invite as many as I can into knowledge of the truth, that praise may linger on theirs”.
