Clinton Chibueze Dim, also known as 7Dime, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and performer with a vast range of musical tastes and fluidity. In his art creation, he is always willing to make various kinds of music and use his voice as much as possible. 7Dime was born and raised in Warri, a city in the southern part of Nigeria, where he has lived ever since. Clinton graduated from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) in 2022. While studying at the tertiary institution, he went on fusing his musical career with studies. Since then, 7Dime has dropped a handful of singles. He debuted in March 2021 with ‘Zipped Through’, sophomore ‘Take Your Top Off’ in July 2021, then a follow-up 2-in-1 piece ‘On You for the Night’ released the following year (2022), under Soft Sly Men Music Group — attaining a Brazil/India viral status, alongside over 5 million streams worldwide and 3k in purchases. Later that year, in September, 7Dime hopped on his first-ever international collaboration, ‘Ask God’, with Russian rapper EMAY. Two months succeeding, his fully Afrobeats track ‘Doy (Japa)’ was unveiled, featuring vocals from EU4RIA. In 2023, 7Dime’s newly-released affectionate single ‘Love Triangle’, depicts his past relationship ordeals, heartbreak, and finding out his lover is in love with someone else.
