The Rising Tide is a modern metal band based in Manawatu, New Zealand. After a lengthy hiatus the band has returned in 2021 stronger than ever with a crushing comeback track "Into the Abyss". Original members Henry van Echten (rhythm guitar) and Phil Brooks (bass, ex drums) have recruited the strongest line-up yet to help them push The Rising Tide to its full potential. With the addition of Matthew Colledge (vocals), Cody Lee (lead guitar) and Dylan Rober't (drums) the bands polished yet punishing new sound is now set to push the boundaries of the New Zealand metal scene.
