WIINK are an alternative rock band based in the north of England, despite being a pack of filthy southerners. Since their inception in 2016, the group has expertly traversed its way through puberty, A Levels and University to find themselves still together with an impressive catalogue of genre-hopping tunes and a high-energy live show. Their music has received acclaim from many places high and low; Vandalism Begins at Home described it as a "Kaleidoscope of sound" and RGM said their sound was "an excellent showcase of how their is always new sound to be found somewhere". Self-described as a clash between brit-rock, ska, latin and punk music, there is a song for anyone who listens. Over the years the trio have garnered support slots with acts such as Strange Bones, John Hassall & The April Rainers (of Libertines fame) and CHILDCARE; even playing as part of a backing band for Leona Mae at the Royal Albert Hall. The group has decided to disband after 7 years together, but will be performing live one final time on the 19th of August 2023 at The Horn, St Albans.
