Based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, independent musician Aubrey Jane knows a thing or two about a broken heart. In a harmonic convergence of enchanting vocals and visceral lyricism, her music refuses to be defined, spanning genres from indie rock, to dream pop, to grunge. Jane has collaborated with other local artists such as Shmoo and Orphanboy on her recent releases “Dreamgirl”, “Olive Juice”, and “Heartless”, as well as self-producing her 2020 EP “Everything is Weird”. Her debut album "Calamity" was written, recorded, and mainly produced in her various bedrooms across the two years the project was in the making. Drums were tracked by Marco Saah, and the album was mixed and mastered by Luke Nogueira. When Jane plays live in New Orleans she is accompanied by Teddy Tietze on the drums, Zach Jiminez on the lead guitar, and Maya Garcia on the bass.
