A fixture in the Nashville Music Scene for over 11 years, singer-songwriter Anthony Michael combines his urban Philly roots with an originally fresh songwriting style to create an eclectic flavor of music that provokes the mind and soothes the soul. Fueled by his albums North & South, LIVE AT EXIT/IN, and Meant To Be, Anthony has been a breakout artist playing over 1,200 shows including the Whisky A Go Go in L.A., The Bluebird Cafe, EXIT/IN, and Whiskey Jam in Nashville, The Bitter End in NYC, The World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, IOTA in D.C. , and Eddie's Attic in ATL . He has performed as the opening act for many established artists including G. Love, Natalie Hemby, David Nail, Chris Janson, Chuck Wicks, James Otto, Cole Taylor, Casey Beathard, Kelleigh Bannen, and Firefall. In addition, Anthony has performed alongside Keith Urban, Deana Carter, and Kenny Rogers. Anthony’s next full length album Mental State, is a collaboration featuring Grammy Nominated musician G.Love ( G. Love & Special Sauce ). The album consists of songs that were all co-written by Anthony Michael and G. Love during the 2020 Pandemic Lock-down. The first single “Ben & Jerry’s”, was released in March of 2021 and features G. Love on harmonica and background vocals as well as G. Love & Special Sauce drummer Jeffrey Clemens.
