Emerging from the underground skate and punk scenes of San Diego, Cardboxer Boxer is a rising force in today’s indie rock world. They have spent the past 6 years developing a signature sound that can be described as a flood of emotion, rebellion, and raw attitude, with lyrics that speak to the experience of youth culture. The band’s reputation for throwing rowdy live shows have taken them to stages like the Constellation Room and headlining gigs at SOMA, packing the venues with their loyal fans called “Boxers.” In summer of 2022, Cardboard Boxer released their 4th album titled “Current Youth” on Postmark Records. “Current Youth” touches on the topics of wasted youth and growing up, demonstrating their maturity as musicians while staying true to their unique sound. Currently recording new music for 2023, the members of Cardboard Boxer are continuing their pursuit in entertaining the masses, fighting mediocrity, and most of all, having fun.
