Offering up a heady mix of alt-rock, reggae, mariachi, and French indie pop, Canadian genre-benders Armistice formed in 2010 around the talents of Montreal singer/songwriter Béatrice Martin, who goes by the stage name Cœur de Pirate, and Bedouin Soundclash guitarist and vocalist Jay Malinowski.
