2003年シングル『消せない罪』でソロデビュー。同楽曲がTVアニメ『鋼の錬金術師』のエンディングテーマとなりヒットを記録する。その後も『KISS or KISS』（日本テレビ系水曜ドラマ『anego）主題歌、『月華-tsukihana-』（TVアニメ『地獄少女 三鼎』オープニングテーマ）などをリリース。パリで開催されたJapan Expoなど海外フェスにも多数出演。 2009年、ソロ活動を休止し、新ユニットLovelessを結成し、全16公演に及ぶヨーロッパツアーを開催。2012年より、オルタナティヴ・ロック・バンドTHE TEENAGE KISSERSを結成し活動する。 2016年にスペインでのジャパンフェスにソロ出演したのをきっかけに本格的にソロ活動を再開。ロバート・デ・ボロンのプロデュースによりアルバム『Violet Blaze』をリリース。また自身が主宰するイベント『Bad Grrrls’ Night Out』も開催する。 2018年デビュー15周年を迎え、西川進との共作によるシングル『想い』、初のドキュメンタリーDVD『PRINCESS OF PUNK NOT DEAD』、BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHTとのコラボ商品も発売する。 Nana Kitade is a Japanese singer and songwriter. In 2003 she debuted with the single "Kesenai Tsumi", which was used as the first ending theme song of the popular anime Fullmetal Alchemist. After that she performed at Comic Festival in Hong Kong, Otakon in the U.S. and Japan Expo in Paris, France. She started the new project “Loveless” in 2009 and had 16 shows in Europe. She also formed the alternative rock band “THE TEENAGE KISSERS” in 2012. In 2016 she performed as a solo singer at Salón del Manga y Cultura Japonesa de Alicante in Spain. After the event she re-started as a solo singer and released the new album “Violet Blaze” produced by Robert de Bolon. She celebrated the 15th anniversary in 2018. She released the single “Omoi” with Susumu Nishikawa, the first documentary DVD ”Princess Of Punk Not Dead” and the collaboration goods with BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT. She releases a brand-new album “New Dawn” on May 8, 2020.
