Thushi Kumanan is a Tamil Canadian producer, composer, mixing engineer, singer, and songwriter. His style of music varies from blending soft melodies in various Carnatic Ragas with Western R&B to hard hitting Dubstep, Hip Hop, Trap, and Drill beats. He produces music in Tamil and English. His songs have seen success in radio stations all across the world from Calgary, his home town in Canada to Toronto, London England, Sri Lanka, and Australia. Kuma Productions was founded by Thushi Kumanan as a music production company and a record label in 2011, and serves as home for all releases. Some of his works as a singer, songwriter and composer include his Tamil debut single Iraivaa in 2013 which was aired locally in Calgary and Toronto radio stations and London IBC Tamil in England. His 2017 release Be the Change was aired for the first time exclusively on Sri Lanka's number one hit music station YES FM in October 5th, 2017 and went onto reach even wider audience through the BBC Asian Network channel when it got airplay in Ashanti Omkar's show.
