Fejo aka Febin Joseph from Kochi, Kerala with a rapping career spanning over a decade, is considered as one of the pioneers of Malayalam Rap. Since 2009, Fejo has been consistently releasing tracks & videos, driven by a steadfast determination to popularize the subversive music genre in Kerala. Known for his unique blend of catchy beats, skillful wordplay & thought-provoking lyrics, Fejo's music often delves into socio-political themes, addressing relevant issues through his art. Fejo has collaborated with renowned music composers such as Raftaar, Sushin Shyam, Jakes Bejoy, Rahul Raj, Deepak Dev & more, earning recognition for his significant contributions to Malayalam cinema. His popular tracks include "Thalayude Vilayattu" from the movie Aaraattu, "Aparaada Panka" from Maradona, "Ayudhameduda" from Ranam & impactful singles like "Malsaram Ennodu Thanne," "Theruvinte Kalakaran," "Koottilitta Thatha," & "Koode Thullu." In 2022, Fejo made his acting debut in the film "Naaradhan," directed by Aashiq Abu, starring Tovino Thomas. Additionally, he took on the role of a composer and performed the opening song for Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5, hosted by Mohanlal in 2023. Fejo's songs have achieved both commercial success & critical acclaim, establishing him as a prominent figure in the Malayalam rap scene.
