Born in a little subberbean city just near Paris, you will not find in Tiwayo's music any trace of french folklore. With a strongly rooted American influence that is got from is father, a devoted jazz fan, and a solid experience of the Blues caused by the passing of his mother at a very young age, Tiwayo seems like a complete outsider in the French music "New Scene" panorama. After burning his teenage years playing and learning with Rastafarian musicians, he devellops in his 20's a deep passion for Soul music, singing, and writing songs. He finds shelter in the voices of the greatests, Nina Simone, Donny Hathaway , Al Green…And eventually his passion led him to travel the U.S from North to South and East to West, searching for his own feeling of the Blues. In 2019 is released "The Gypsy Soul of Tiwayo", a first album entirely recorded in Georgia's deep south with the very first producer of the "The Black Keys" , Mark Neill. With his own cocktail of folk, soul, and french mystery, Tiwayo grabs the attention and support of great artists and producers like Tony Visconti, Norah Jones , Curtis Harding…Stopped in his movement by the pandemic , Tiwayo chooses for his 2nd album to follow only the voice of his instinct. He chooses to produce all the music by itself and said that he develloped a long time desire of making songs like "a painter would paint big fresques." He promisses this 2nd album to be very personnal, driven mainly by the intimacy and sensorial dimension of music.
