Initially breaking into the local music scenes as an independent artist featuring in several hip-hop gems, Taipei based Pezen sets out on his own as a music producer/songwriter, with his mellow, soulful, yet socially-concerned take on Mandarin songs. Pezen's special blend of Mando Pop takes cues from alternative R&B, rock and a heavy influence from 70's U.S. soul. His debut album, All Our Differences, is his nod to socially conscious soul classics, delving into housing affordability, disfunction of education, self-identification, racial discrimination, and so on.
