Monday Favor Etuk, better known by his stage as "Kaptain, is a Nigerian Afro-Rap Fusion singer. He is from Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, and grew up in Benin City, Edo State. Kaptain broke through the underground ni 2018 with his breakthrough tune "Money Must Drop," which became astreet anthem. Kaptain had a successful 2020, releasing his debut EP, Projected, dubbed "Kapacity EP", which featured the hits "Gbese Gbese" and "Problem." This EP contains four strong tracks, all of which are hits. Kaptain has captivated the hearts of fans all around the world with his self-created subgenre, termed the "Afro-street sound." His legitimacy as an Afro-rap fusion musician is evident in the vast range of sounds to which he lends his vocal powers as wel as his excellent collaborations with Teni on his most recent album (BARD).
