Concrete Gold is a contemporary take and modern spin on 90s rock - influenced by bands spanning both eras. Their instrumentation ranges from hard hitting heavy riffs, to bright indie rock, as well as to melancholic slow burners. Concrete Gold is an exploration of the culmination of past and present. Formed in Byron Bay, 2022, Concrete Gold found it's place following the footsteps of other Aussie greats - taking part in a mentorship with Grinspoon guitarist Pat Davern. This experience has set the foundation for the band's evolution and musical path, adopting core ideas and philosophies passed down. This is heavily implemented in their debut single "Walk The Wrong Path", produced by Pat Davern. Concrete Gold consists of lead singer/guitarist Cameron Lockwood, guitarist Harry Ivers, Bassist Oberon Forest, and drummer Will Bainbridge.
