After playing in bands throughout the Icelandic hardcore scene, Hákon Aðalsteinsson began experimenting with new and fresh sounds in an electronic context. This creative experimentation led to the genesis of his current solo project, which goes simply by his first name: Hákon. Utilizing musical sensibilities developed in hardcore and combining them with a fresh and electric sound, Hákon's sounds feature an infectious and slick energy. Tracks like Barcelona and Limbo balance sentimental vibes with a driving energy that's at home on any dance floor. Hákon's live show brings the electricity of his sounds to the stage.
