NY-based singer-rapper-songwriter Mikel Spight has an extraordinary way of cutting straight through to the core of his listeners’ emotions. With a passion for songwriting running through his veins from an early age, Mikel's lyrics and fun melodies expose a truly creative artist whose soul-grabbing voice have the power to provoke a profound response. 
 For fans of Ludacris, T.I., Andre3000, Boosie, Drake, and Big Krit to name a few, you are able to hear Mikel's tasteful blend of different artist and the meaning behind his words/metaphors. Grasping the pain of his Southern roots, and imagining his descriptive yet technical lyrics as if they were a movie. His sole purpose is creating music for everyone, because everyone goes through their own personal struggles in life. That is why you may hear a song that's a resemblance of Lil John and the Eastside Boy's, and also hear a song similar to Drake's "Cameras". 
 Born in Georgia- on March 8 1993, Mikel would shortly relocate to Montgomery, Al where he would grow up with his older brother William. Being raised in the south by a hard working single mother taught him the values of family, hard work, faith, and the art of people. Often being the kid who didn't, but maybe should have been sent to the principal's office, Mikel had a knack for getting everyone to laugh and not get caught. He's very close to his core values and loves to help others.
