Aramis is a solo-artist progressive thrash/death metal project from the Bay Area, California. It was created in 2018 by Nik Hayes, the sole musician behind the music - all songs are written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by him. The artwork featured on the album and single covers is taken from his portfolio of nature and landscape photography as well. Aramis takes inspiration from a number of sources, including bands such as Metallica, Gojira, Lamb of God, Death, and many more, but it is also influenced by other genres outside of metal as well. In 2021, Aramis released its first single, Nebulous, in January; a second single, Born of Man, was released in March. Both songs would be featured on the debut album Insignificant Memories, which was released in June of the same year. Aramis would also go on to release a standalone single titled Constrictor on Halloween (October 31st). Aramis has since signed with SODEH Records and is happy to be working with them on future music releases. The second album from Aramis, Crimson, released June 9th 2023. It features 11 tracks including the previous singles Promethean Treatment and You Are The Enemy. I hope you all enjoy.
