NewJiew is a female duo group comprising of New - Napassorn Phuthornjai & Jiew - Piyanut Sueajongpru, 2 contestants from a singing competition program “the Star” first sesson in 2003. Their friendship from the age of 10 and singing abilities impressed by the audiences, New went through quarter-final and finished 4th, while Jiew went to the final and finished 2nd place. After solo debut from The Star project, they were approached to sign as a duo with GMM Grammy. NewJiew Making their debut on September 27, 2005, Known for duo divas with exceptional vocal abilities that suit for ballads. They have a dozen of classic hits, awards and nominations through out their career.
