As a member of EXO, D.O. has won a lot of popularity with his attractive vocals and strong performances. As an actor in various movies and dramas, he has also been recognized for his strong acting skills and box office clout. In July 2021, D.O. released his first solo album “Empathy” that featured eight tracks including the title track “Rose'' with the acoustic vibes and his unique mellow vocal tone. The album charted No. 1 in domestic album charts and topped the global charts as well including iTunes Top Album charts in 60 countries and China’s QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music digital album sales charts.
