!distain is an electro-pop band from Germany established in 1992 . Their work so far contains eight studio-records, several singles, three compilations, and the dvd "20th anniversary". Eight of their singles made it to the top twenty of the DAC (Deutsche Alternative Charts) - among them the no. 1 hit "SynthPopBoy". Up to this there have been three DAC top ten albums. Eleven singles entered the top 15 of the GEWC (German Electronic Web Charts) - among them the no. 1 hit "December". Two albums entered the GEWC top ten - among them the no. 1 longplayer "Farewell To The Past". The actual line-up is: Alexander Braun (vocals & instruments) & Manfred Thomaser (vocals & instruments).
