CALV (Calvin Velasquez) is an bass house, big room DJ and producer from Rhode Island, US. Known for his high-energy experimental sound, from explosive club banger ‘Explode’ to tribal house anthem ‘HOW I DO’, CALV’s music has been supported by huge artist including Hardwell, David Guetta, Mike Williams, Sick Individuals, Blasterjaxx and many more.   CALV first got into music after discovering production software Fruity Loops aged 12. He spent hours making mixes and studying YouTube tutorials before he eventually began creating his own signature sound and style. In 2018, CALV was signed to Hardwell’s iconic label, Revealed Recordings, which marked a major milestone for the DJ’s music career. Since then, CALV’s music has rapidly gained recognition within the music industry and beyond.   The Latino DJ and producer has said that being able to connect with the listeners and influence how they feel is one of his main motivations for making music. “Whenever I release a track, I feel empowered by the reactions and comments of people who hear it. Also, seeing how other artist work and what they’ve achieved makes me really inspired - it makes me think about where I want to go during my own music journey.”   CALV’s currently in the studio working on a slate of upcoming projects, set to drop later this year.
