Known for his dark, melodic sound which incorporates elements of fluttery basslines and hard-hitting synths, Whales has become a notable force in the bass genre. His tender harmonies are juxtaposed by intense eclectic melodies and captivating percussion. Each track keeps fans enthralled with a variety of styles including future bass feels and intense dubstep heaters. Whales has been musically gifted from the young age of 7, when he picked up his first instrument, and later would excel by teaching himself how to master electronic music production. Whales fully immersed himself in music during several hardships he faced during his life, and the struggles he encountered motivated him to produce music that would help him heal and ultimately inspire others. As an artist who refuses to pigeonhole his vision, has worked with Excision, Shaquille O’Neal, Kayzo and has been featured in Forbes, BBC, YourEDM, and UKF.
